Heat Damage to the Weeping Cherry

When the house was painted this year the weeping cherry tree was covered with a plastic sheet to keep spilled paint off it. In the bright sun it took on about an hour before the heat built up and cooked and killed leaves and branches. Fortunately the damage was noticed and the plastic removed before the entire tree died.
